Lovely 70+ acre property with beautiful house. The property itself was wonderful for walks and stargazing at night. One afternoon when we came back we saw 2 adult turkeys and 9 babies! There is a garden and fire pit that are great. Don't forget to plug in the garden lights for a beautiful experience at night! The house is the CLEANEST Airbnb Ive stayed in in 10 years of using Airbnb. The kitchen has everything you could need for an extensive meal. Grill worked great! Maggie was a great host, very responsive, even called a local restaurant to. heck on their hours when I inquired about a menu left for guests to review before deciding dinner plans! 10/10 would recommend.

An already excellent, well-equipped home has had some thoughtful upgrades, making it an even more relaxing and fun place to stay! It's our family's favorite AirBnB! The games, toys, and books for children (and all ages) are all high quality and thoughtfully chosen. The kitchen has everything you could want when cooking for a crowd. The house is spacious and well laid out, with plenty of room to hang out together as a family and get space when needed. The property is incredible!! So much to see and do without even leaving the place. The host is very responsive, keeping us up to date about things and answering questions quickly and graciously. Highly recommend this place! We've been twice, and it will be our go-to rental when the family gathers near Turkey Run!

Great place for a family. This was a family weekend trip that we invited our son and daughter along with our three grandchildren. My daughter in law commented that the host thought of everything we would need. The grand boys loved playing with all the toys and games in the basement. Our son and daughter both said we need to make this trip an annual event and definitely stay in the same place next year. Since my child hood was spent on a farm in the country, I especially enjoyed the mowed trail to hike. There are few places where you can go outside and listen to the birds without the sound of motors and people. Thanks for the memories!

This was our second time staying here and we loved it. The house is beautiful and the surrounding land is so private and quiet. The house has lots of space to spread out, and the kitchen has every possible comfort/utensil. Great for families, or anyone looking to get away from it all.

We had a wonderful time at this house! Based on other reviews we were very excited to visit, and it did not disappoint. You can tell that the hosts have put a lot of care into this house. It really feels like home--perhaps more than any other place we've visited. The location is great: just minutes from Turkey Run State Park, with easy access to Rockville and other fun areas. Despite this place feeling pretty private and off the grid, it is walking distance to a couple fun restaurants (we particularly enjoyed Gobbler's Knob for ice cream). We had a delightful time walking around the property and identifying various trees. I can imagine this place is gorgeous in the fall! The younger kids in our group absolutely loved the basement and all the fun things to do. Overall, top notch and we hope to be back in the near future!

We had an amazing stay here and genuinely loved the property. The land is beautiful, very private, and we spent a lot of time just enjoying being outside. There is great birdwatching around. We loved sitting on the back porch with a drink and listening to nature! Bonfires were a great way to end the night. The house worked so well for our group of 5 adults, 3 kids, and dog. There was plenty of space for everyone without ever feeling crowded. The basement was a huge hit with the kids - there were so many cool toys for them and it ended up being a fun hangout space in general. We also loved how close we were to Turkey Run State Park and really appreciated being able to use the annual pass. We ended up going 3 different times because we enjoyed it so much! This was truly the most thoughtful Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in. Maggie really thought of all the little things you could need, which made everything feel easy and comfortable! We are already planning a trip back.

This is a really great AirBnB and when we arrived our expectations were exceeded.. the cabin is really beautiful and spacious and we considered the outside space (with amazing nature and privacy) to be truly a paradise! We ate on the deck, had picnics, and hot tubbed. The hosts were thoughtful with welcoming gifts and were nice to communicate with.. thanks much

Our stay at Maggie’s place was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, it felt like stepping into a fairytale, a home filled with warmth, beauty, and a quiet kind of enchantment that you can’t quite put into words, but you feel it everywhere. The house itself is absolutely stunning, thoughtfully designed, fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. The surrounding land is just as breathtaking, offering a sense of peace and connection with nature. Its location is perfect, close to the park yet still feeling like a private sanctuary. Maggie was incredibly kind, welcoming, and supportive throughout our entire stay, always available when needed, yet giving us the space to fully enjoy the experience. You can feel her heart in this place. We all kept saying how special this home is and how grateful we were to be there. If it were possible to give 100 stars, we would, without hesitation.
